Is Your Cat in Pain? Here are 3 Signs to Watch Out For

Cats are experts at hiding pain. They are one of those animals that don’t like to show their vulnerability. Unlike dogs, cats will most likely be hiding their pain so it is easier to determine if they are physically unwell.

But here are a few things you should watch out for as they might indicate that your feline family member is going through a rough time:

1. Change in behavior

Look for changes in behavioral patterns such as aggression or diminished level of activity. Once you see any significant changes in behavior, you should go to a Veterinary clinic in Kamloops  to have your pet checked out.

2. Prefers to stay isolated

If your formerly affectionate cat no longer wants to be cuddled and sidles away from you if you even attempt to get one, it could indicate that there is something wrong with your pet.

3. Sleeping more often

Cats normally like to lounge around. However, if you notice that your cat has been sleeping more often and don’t like doing any other activity even if you engage him/her, it might be time to take your pet to a veterinary clinic in Kamloops.

Also, watch out for your pet’s eating habits. Is your pet eating less than usual? What about drinking habits? You need to take your pet to the Cat Hospital of Kamloops if you notice these symptoms. Even if it’s not a pain issue, it can still be a pressing health problem that needs to be addressed as soon as possible.
